Biography
Abducted by the League of Assassins as a youth, Ren Ikeda was trained in the assassin’s arts. He was also subjected to experiments which imbued him with the power to become, and manipulate, the umbra–shadows.
In time, however, he rebelled against his masters, escaping to Gotham City, adopting the alias Phantom, and becoming in time one of the city’s newest costumed heroes.
