Kiera travelling back in time from her native Earth a.d. 2172–when she’s known as Kryptonia, the Maid of Steel–to the present day in an effort to secure the Fortress of Solitude.
The archive an irreplaceable wealth of Kryptonian culture, heritage and technological achievement having been lost to posterity, Darkseid destroying it shortly after her birth.
Which itself being a blend of Kryptonian crèche-based science informing genetic splicing, and Kiera somehow being the offspring of Kara Zor-El and an unspecified sire, according to archival DNA evidence.
